Call for Manuscripts
Edward Waters College’s Undergraduate Journal on Research Across the Disciplines is an interdisciplinary peer reviewed referee journal with an emphasis on research, writing across the curriculum, and writing in the discipline. Select writings are reviewed by the editorial board, which selects the best critical articles among the genres in research writing across the disciplines and within the disciplines, written by currently-enrolled undergraduate students at Edward Waters College and other undergraduate college students from both local, national, and international colleges and universities.
Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year but must be received before the August publication release dates for publication consideration. Since Edward Waters College cultivates students’ critical thinking, writing, and research within the humanities and beyond— manuscripts can be in the APA standard document style and should not exceed 25 pages in length—not including tables, graphs, figures, and references—and typed double spaced in 12 point font Times New Roman. However, exceptions may be made for stellar quality. Submissions can be submitted for publication consideration to Dr. Hyo Kyung Woo at hyokyung.woo@ewc.edu as an attachment. Manuscripts should be original and not submitted to other journals or receive a permission of reprint. Manuscripts should include a short bio, cover letter, and contact information.
